Export Program · IMAT
IMAT starts with the capabilities your company has already built. It organises the offering, people, controls and operational preparation in a project tailored to your commodities business. The work delivers tools in use and criteria for deciding on the first transaction.
Discuss your company's preparationWho it is for
For producers, grain merchants, originators and industrial businesses with an identifiable offering that need to build or verify the commercial and operational foundation for international business.
Product, specification, availability and fulfilment capacity presented consistently.
Roles, procedures, information and approval limits incorporated into the work.
Price, costs, resources, timing and risks examined for a reference configuration.
From the existing foundation to readiness
We verify the existing base, the objective and the initial configuration: product, volume, channel, available information and priority gaps.
We connect documents, data, roles and controls. The commercial offering and fulfilment requirements gain defined owners and working procedures.
We develop the buyer assessment and connect the proposal, costs, sourcing, logistics, resources and risks to a reference opportunity.
We update costs and cash flow, test interfaces and verify critical preparation gaps before submitting the next decision.

A milestone within IMAT
Readiness brings together deliverables, tests and responsibilities demonstrated in the reference configuration. It is the point at which the foundation is verified for the next decision.
The tools included in the scope are available for the team to use.
Costs, responsibilities and dependencies have been examined in the reference configuration.
Critical preparation gaps addressed and conditions for assessing execution documented.

Operational Playbook
The Playbook brings together the procedures and criteria developed during the project. The team receives a tailored framework for preparing opportunities and referring decisions for approval.
Deliverables and tools defined according to the contracted scope.
A foundation for continuity
Scope and responsibilities
The proposal defines the reference configuration, stages, tools, team participation and verification criteria. The Playbook is built and tailored throughout the work. The number of tools and the schedule follow the project's needs.
Your company provides the agreed information, appoints accountable people and reviews the deliverables. Taylor structures and coordinates the contracted work. Specialists and service providers are responsible for the activities they undertake.
MESA structures the assessment and submits decisions to the authorised people. The international structure defines who contracts, receives payment and bears responsibility, according to the project's needs.

Vessel Ready is the readiness milestone within IMAT. Once the foundation has been reviewed, your company can assess the first vessel under current conditions. Execution through Vessel ONE requires its own scope, contractual arrangements and approval.
For clarity
The work combines assessment of the existing foundation, preparation and use of the tools included in the scope. The team takes part in the reviews and receives procedures for continuing to use the framework developed.
It is the preparation review milestone within IMAT. It brings together deliverables, tests, responsibilities and documented conditions for assessing execution. It is neither a separate programme nor authorisation to ship.
IMAT prepares export capability. Vessel ONE execution has its own deliverables, scope, contractual arrangements and approval. The proposal clarifies which workstreams form part of the project and how each is activated.
The initial assessment identifies your offering and commercial base. Developing and qualifying opportunities may form part of preparation. A contact or proposal still requires conditions, resources and fulfilment capacity to be examined before proceeding.
When the project's needs require it. Contracts, cash flow, responsibilities and any corporate vehicle are examined throughout preparation. Defining these does not replace operational readiness.
